Customization is also a factor in differentiating program offerings, marketing strategies and in emphasizing the advantages partner universities have over competitive institutions.

•  Services begin with assigning each new university partner a managing director of university partnerships (MD) to coordinate the construction of a blueprint and plan to integrate university enrollment services, provide the technical support for the Learning Management System, and coordinate the student information system with AP’s enrollment specialists, call center, IT, and accounting departments. 

• Simultaneously, our marketing department conducts a market analysis. This process leads to recommendations on program selection, number of annual start dates and a plan for program launch. From the analysis, we develop media and digital marketing strategies, a plan for utilizing our proprietary field sales organization and establishing affinity partnerships.

Our extensive experience enables us to quickly analyze the market potential in most degree categories and develop a marketing plan based on customer profiles, estimated demand and a competitive analysis of:

Curriculum Services:
• Assist faculty in blueprinting and organizing course design to facilitate the conversion of traditional courses into an electronic delivery format. The goal is always academic excellence and an engaging learning experience.

• Assist faculty in achieving ongoing course improvement through updates, adding materials and links, and modifying assessments.

• Utilize new technologies as they are developed, which improve the learning experience for the student and provide faculty more real-time information and evaluation of student progress throughout a course.


Enrollment support:
The Enrollment Services Department assists potential students from the time they inquire about a program to the beginning of their first course. This communication begins in the pre-application phase and continues through the application process, which includes communication regarding admission requirements, program details and key features. Once students are accepted to the program by the university, the enrollment services department further assists them through the enrollment and registration process until they successfully begin their program.


Student Services and Retention:
The Student Services Department supports students beginning with their first course and ensures that they continue in the program through graduation by monitoring course-to-course persistence rates.

Integration Support and Reporting:
The Integration Services Department integrates data files between AP and the university partner. This process enables tracking of student admission and enrollment status to ensure they progress
into the program.

We also assist partner institutions in obtaining state-by-state approval to offer online learning.
