Tips and Tools for K-12 Teachers and Administrators
As higher education campuses across the country mobilize quickly to deliver face-to-face programs in a virtual synchronous setting, local K-12 schools are also being faced with the same issue. Many school districts are delaying or are indefinitely postponing in-person instruction until further notice as COVID-19 continues to spread leaving teachers and administrators looking for continuity plans going forward. For local school districts especially, many have not needed to provide this extent of virtual instruction before and are navigating through unchartered waters.
Academic Partnerships would like to help school districts with strategies to get online instruction up and running fast. We’ve created resources for K-12 schools for teachers and administrators to meet them where they are in this time of need. The resources detail how teachers and administrators can leverage new and existing tools to help speed the process of virtual delivery and also help students so they can know what to expect in an online class. As educators, we know it’s an important time to work together and share resources to help ensure all students, from Kindergarten to high school seniors and beyond, can continue to progress in their coursework even during these challenging times.
