What traits do you admire in a leader?

Empathy, collaboration, clarity, coaching, transparency, willingness to listen, total ownership.

What are your core values and principles and how have they informed your career?

My core values are transparency, honesty, and collaboration, with a focus on delivering on your commitments. I have found that if you are willing to collaborate with others, put in the work, and communicate openly you will be set up for success. The number one reason for some of the success I’ve had in higher education is the trust people have in me and our teams. They know we are going to put our best foot forward and know we will communicate transparently both when things are working well and when we are facing challenges.
