Nancy LaMons

Chief Human Resources Officer

Nancy LaMons is Chief Human Resources Officer of Academic Partnerships (AP). She is responsible for the entire employee experience lifecycle inclusive of talent recruitment, professional development, compensation, benefits, diversity, inclusion & belonging, and culture. Under her leadership, AP has been recognized as a top place to work.

Nancy is a seasoned executive who has served as Chief People Officer at Main Event Entertainment and CHRO at Sprouts Farmers Market. Previously, she held senior leadership positions at JCPenney and PepsiCo. Nancy began her career at General Electric.

A passionate believer in the power of education, Nancy is proud to lead a workforce that is dedicated to expanding access to low-tuition, high-value degrees for the remote learner.

Nancy holds an MBA and an M.Ed. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned a B.S. in Finance from Central State University. In her spare time, she is a track and volleyball mom, enjoys traveling with her husband and watching sports, and volunteering for her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

Empowering. I believe that through empowering others, we unleash the full potential of talent within the organization. This fosters a culture of engagement, accountability, and ownership. Empowerment allows for freedom to exercise creativity and take calculated risks, leading to exceptional outcomes for our university partners, employees, and community.
